The NP girls golf team pulled out another victory to close out the current four meet home-stand. The meet held Monday, April 18th at the Nashua Town and Country Club saw the hometown girls 14 strokes better than 2nd place Central Springs. The Huskies posted a 215 team total to Central Springs’ 229. North Butler posted a 259 in the three team meet.
Individually, the Huskies were led by Kelsey Poppe. The senior posted a score of 52 to take top medalist honors. NP’s Hailey Schmitz was tied by Central Springs’ Kelli Wilson and Alexis Daily for runner-up medalist honors, all carding 53’s. For the Huskies, a pair of 55’s were turned in by Megan Cerwinske and Haley Hillesheim to round out NP’s scoring.
