Junior Shane Hillesheim turned in his career low round in leading the NP boys golf team to victory Tuesday, April 16 in a meet held at Buffalo Run Golf Course in Nora Springs. The team returned back to the top after Monday’s second place finish as they carded their season low team total of 179. With four of the top five scores in the meet, the Huskies outdistanced runner-up Rockford who came in with a team score of 197. St. Ansgar had only one golfer so no team score could be recorded for them.

Backing up Hillesheim’s 42 was senior Drew Moine with a 44. After a rocky first hole where he recorded a triple bogie, Moine righted the ship and finished his round shooting five over on the remaining eight holes. Freshman Max Hillegas posted a 46 and sophomore Derik Auchstetter a 47 to round out the team score. Freshmen Trey Nelson and Drew Rodruck shot a 53 and a 56 respectively.
